Say what you want about my unwavering love for Mama Oprah. My dear friends Kerrie and Heather joined me to spend the day laughing, crying and vowing to change our worlds.

And when I say day, I mean the whooooole day! Doors opened at 7:30 a.m. and we left the building after 4:00 p.m. with our hearts full and goals set for 2020.

One of the most impressive things was that Oprah was in the room, either leading the lessons or in the audience, for almost the entire day. I fully expected her to introduce and close out the event with her guests filling most of the time.

Poor Todd must think I’ve become a menopausal suburbanite based on how much I’ve talked about the day…and how much I’ve cried retelling it. 🙂

I didn’t take a lot of photos — you know, trying to be present and all — but here are a few of my faves…

Oprah walked the room to answer questions and help fill out workbooks.
Our seats were fantastic, thanks to American Express Platinum Pre-Sale!
The workbook
Monica, Jerry and the rest of the cast of Netflix’s hit series “Cheer” made a quick cameo and then joined us in the audience for the entire seminar.
Julianne Hough getting us revved up for a fun, fulfilling day. (She was really, really inspirational, too!)
